WELCOME TO UTHMAN BIN AFFAN ISLAMIC SENIOR HIGH
Uthman Bin Affan Islamic Senior High School was established in 2008 by the Kamgbunli
Community in collaboration with other Muslim Communities in Nzema East, Ellembelle and
Jomoro districts through the initiative of Sheikh Sulleyman Ahmed Mozu, who was then a
student in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The project was founded by a Saudi
Philanthropist
known as Sheikh Faisal while the
community members also provided communal labour. The chief and elders of Kamgbunli
released land for the establishment of the school project. The school started as a
private school in 2008/2009 academic year with total enrolment of 68 students comprising
of 36 boys and 32 girls. The staff at the time were four full time teachers and three
part timers. It was however fully absorbed into the public school system in the
2011/2012 academic year.
Uthman Bin Affan Islamic Senior High School stands as a beacon of educational excellence, where the principles of Nwoma (Knowledge), Subane (Character), Anyluhole (Discipline) are not merely a motto but a way of life nestled within the heart of our community. This institution has long been a pillar of academic and moral development, nurturing the minds and hearts of our students.

Aspect that I particularly appreciate about Uthman Bin Affan is the strong emphasis on character development. The school places great importance on moral and ethical values, which have shaped me into a responsible and compassionate individual. The nurturing environment fosters a strong sense of community and brotherhood among the students, which I believe is a unique and invaluable aspect of this school.
I am honored to share my experience as a student at Uthman Bin Affan Islamic Senior High School. My journey through this educational institution has been truly transformative, and I am immensely grateful for the knowledge, values, and opportunities it has provided me.
Uthman Bin Affan Islamic Senior High School has not only prepared me academically but has also equipped me with the skills necessary to face the challenges of the real world. It has instilled in me a sense of purpose, self-discipline, and a commitment to make a positive impact in my community and beyond.
